There was a boy, Harro Teeuw, who loved reading stories. From Dennis the Menace to
King Arthur. From adventure stories to folk-
When he grew up he went to the University of Professional Education. During his study
Recreation, Tourism and Culture he was intro-
duced to the phenomenon of telling stories.
Being fascinated by the opportunities which both stories and storytelling offer, he decided to make the use of stories in the leisure sector the theme of his thesis.
After graduating, he travelled round Australia for some time before he started working in business.
There he held several positions in the fields of marketing, communication, education and product development.
In the year 2000 he decided to live his dream;
combining his passion for writing and telling stories
with his skills and knowledge of business.
This has resulted in Verhalen op Maat (Taylormade Stories), a company which specialises in successful application of stories in organizations and private events.
